Himachal Pradesh will spend Rs 156.38 crore to develop Ecotourism in nine districts

According to a UNI report, Himachal Pradesh (HP) will spend Rs 156.38 crore to develop Ecotourism in nine districts of the hill state including Kullu, Shimla, Kinnuar, Bilaspur, Chamba, Lahul Spiti, Sirmour, Solan and Kangra. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh recently informed the Assembly that 18 proposals had been sent to the Centre to seek funds for new projects and the Centre had given its nod to 11 proposals and granted Rs 46,875 crore.
